Today we travelled through four states in a day! Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and now we are in Louisianna, just North of New Orleans.
On the way here we spent a bit of time in a traffic jam! You don't see many of them around here, seems it was because we had to go trough a tunnel which was bottlenecking everyone.
Just before we went through it we turned off for a drink and ice cream at the USS battleship Alabama. What a sight! had a nosy around a B52 bomber too.
We put a few miles behind us today so tomorrow will be a shorter ride to morgan City and Patterson (well we have to stop there don't we?)
Love the battleship, isn't it amazing. Hope Patterson lives up to its name :))xxxxxxx
