Had a good long chat with Martin and Rachel last night.
Kids today don’t appreciate how amazing telecommunications are these days.
I was sat in my cabin on board a gas rig in the middle of the North Sea talking to my laptop with Skype. On the other end of the line was Martin driving down the interstate one in Southern Florida. This is like something out of Star Trek in the seventies, and for 1.4p/min.
They are both enjoying Florida although I think it’s busier that they thought.
Martin hasn’t found a bike within his price range yet but is still looking. It may be a problem because he has no address in the US to register and insure it if he finds one.
They are now heading south to the keys for a few days away from bike hunting to chill out.
Hope he doesn’t get too chilled and forget to meet us on the 13th.
