Camping it up at Morgan City

Morgan City

We had a lovely leisurely ride to Morgan City, albeit with a diversion due to a bridge being closed. Then spent the day lazing by the Lake and eating. The campsite (Lake end) is a busy family area during the weekend and was full of local Luisiana’s all enjoying picnics, BBQ’s and ball games. The place was buzzing with laughter and music. Wonderful to see everyone having the sorts of days that you imagine American families having.
We had tea out and then spent the evening around the campfire with a couple of Buds :-))

The squirrels were so tame! This one was enjoying some Health bar which he pinched out of my fingers!
Then of course we had to call at a town with our name. It was really pretty too and we were very proud to have our name attached to it.
