Cpt Johns airboat ride

Met up with Martin and Rachel. Unfortunately Martin’s motorbike proved to be a dud and not fixable within the time frame available to him. So it has gone to a good home in the form of the Veteran’s war Association. They now have a car and although not quite ‘the dream’ at least they can now relax and enjoy the tour.

Pat, Des, Sandra, Graeme, Nigel and I made our way to Cpt John’s old fashioned airboat ride and had a fabulous hour n a half whizzing about photographing aligators, bald eagles and the wonderful scenery. We all had huge grins on our faces and it was well worth the money.

We had a bit of a pallaver with our hotel that night as when we arrived it was ‘no longer  operating’!! We attemted to get to Des and Pat’s hotel but ended up at the wrong one at Cocoa Beach! After a bit of an adventure we eventually got settled in and met up nwith Des & Pat the next morning for breakfast.
